Chavs On Ebay; Buying Number Plates

Ebay attracts Weird number plates like fruit attracts flies. Now, we have one that is amazingly chavvy. (And also not as witty as previous number plates!)

R what? Are you? What sane (or even, insane) person who have that on the front of their car? Is this the latest from the brain that spawned "Pimp my Ride"?

Appears ebay have started marketing to wannabe gangsta Chavs!

Which doesn't actually make much sense to people who can speak PROPER English; but I'm sure the Chavs of Ebay will understand, and rush to buy!

A few years ago I was hoping to get P155 OFF, but it was probably not 'allowed' to be used as a registration on moral grounds

    I think they have to be seen to uphold public morals
    
    The SO 53XY R one is pretty innocuous
    
    There was a bakers round my way, whose van had BRE4D as its number, but DVLA or the Old William put a stop to it

      Now, I can understand something rude; but why can't they have Bread??! Especially, as it looks close enough to the old style plates!

        I think it was because the 4 had been manipulated to look more like an A and you are not allowed to have letters 'bunched up'. It should have read BRE 4D. One of the best ones I've seen is TUR8O (again 'illegal') on a Porsche 911 Turbo

        Best number plates I saw was in Stockport on a pair of black BMW X5s. One read D4RTH and the other V4DER. Mock ups here: Darth and Vader Number Plates

I wonder how much I could get for mine (which is J19 FEB ). A lot of people think my birthday is on 19th February, but it isn't (it's 19th October) the Feb is the first three letters of my surname.
